New Zealand manage to win a match and keeps their hope alive for semi-final. New Zealand defeated Sri Lanka by 38 runs to win the Group B encounter here on Sunday. For New Zealand JD Ryder and BB McCullumgave flying start of 125 runs partnership for 1st wicket, and then came MJ Guptill who also played well 66 runs innging. ST Jayasuriya manages to get 3 wickets. For Sri Lanka DPMD Jayawardene & KMDN Kulasekara played well but coulnot chane the fortune of the team. Eventually Sri Lanka is well short of 38 runs
