Match 8: South Africa vs England, Champions Trophy 2009

England is in Semi-finals. What a turn back for English team. After loosing 6-1 ODI series to Australia in England just a week ago, they came back strongly. BTW Home team, South Africa is now out of the Champions Trophy. The Last match of the group B, New Zealand vs England will have no effect on South Africa, but yes, if New Zealand loose the Last match then Sri Lanka have fair chance to go in Semi's with better run rate.
Now lets talk about this match, Match 8, England batting first put up huge total of 323 runs with the help of  brilliant Half centuries by OA Shah, PD Collingwood, EJG Morgan. WD Parnell took 3 wickts of England. Captan GC Smith brilliant 141 runs would also not saved South Africa. As a result South Africa lost the match by 22 runs at the end. JM Anderson & SCJ Broad took 3 wickets each.
